The decision is for the Proposition: Rafael Schulman

    Reason for Decision:

The proposition has posted a video that the opposition failed to respond to within the time constraints. As such, the proposition wins by default.

Rafael, this speech has a solid moral/philosophical foundation. I think that it does have some major logical weaknesses. You failed to convince me that animals have natural rights. Your opponent would have had an easy time pointing out that this assertion rests on a weak assumption, namely -- Animal are related to people therefore they have natural rights. Then again I did not have an opportunity to see your rebuttal! Overall, I rate your speech 4/6 (very good 26). Good luck the rest of the way. - Claude Morest on April 23, 2013 at 08:19AM EST
