Comments: Excellent job. Very responsive to opponent, very good impact framing. Use your evidence better. Mention your author's last name and year. Give me specific warrants on why your claim is true.

Regardless, excellent job and good luck with the rest of the tournament.
Excellent job. Very responsive to opponent. Could use more impact framing. Specifically, your arguments are more defensive. Why does it matter that it costs more? How many people does radioactive waste kill? Use your evidence better. Mention your author's last name and year. Give me specific warrants on why your claim is true.

Regardless, excellent job and good luck with the rest of the tournament.

The decision is for the Proposition: Maria Feliz

    Reason for Decision:

Excellent debate. Best one I have judged so far. Love the responsiveness to each other.

Ultimately, I vote in proposition because of better impact analysis. The framing of climate change and how that is worse is more effective than the framing of radioactive waste. There wasn't enough pushback on the proposition framework of nuclear vs fossil fuels, not nuclear vs renewables.

Both sides need better evidence analysis and referencing. There are competing claims but I can't evaluate them. Give me the author last name and year. That helps in terms of use of evidence.

Let me know if you have any questions. Good job and good luck.
