    Category Mya Navarro Maria Feliz
    Use of evidence: 3.7 2.7
    Delivery skill: 4.4 2.5
    Coherence of arguments: 3.4 3.7
    Responsiveness to opponent: 3.6 3.7
Identification of key points: 4.1 4
Comments: Great job roadmapping your arguments. Your speaking is really really strong. You also managed to outspread your opponent. That works at this level, because you're making more arguments. I would be aware to take more time in your speeches toward the end to just sit on the impacts that the affirmative solves for. I really enjoyed how you framed the round at the top of your first speech. I love how you use your own countries budget to explain some of the financial devastation that would occur. I think that you're doing a job making arguments. you have a Claim, warrant impact, but I want more depth on your impacts. You say a lot of numbers and for you impacts you say things like "Imagine a world without protective gear". Don't leave that to the judge to figure out. Describe that world.

The decision is for the Proposition: Mya Navarro

    Reason for Decision:

I voted for Mya in this debate because when I look at my flow I think she has some really strong impacts to her affirmative that Maria isn't really grappling with. Maria, you are also clearly a strong speaker, you're just getting spread out in this debate. you both give me two different roadmaps for this debate. I would say Maria, your strategy in your rebuttals should be to spend a minute framing the round and doing an overview on your argument, two minutes following her roadmap and answering arguments. and a full minute of impact calculus. You don't need to spread like Mya, you just have to give me enough impacts calculus and tell me why it matters more than her ability to answer all of your points or any of the facts she can spread.
