Comments: Vernon. Most of your case is value-based, common-sense, and narrative. I would have liked to see stronger use of evidence. I disagree with your POV that this is a value judgment debate. I feel value will play a large role, but I'm not going to rule based on value if evidence is weak. I felt you spent too much time in your last speech going over technicalities.
Teresa. I have a hard time with Ks and especially in short formats such as this one or PF. This means that topicality WILL be an issue for you on this one. I think you best moment was when you attacked Vernon's lack of description of how this would be implemented.

The decision is for the Proposition: Vernon Jay Tan

    Reason for Decision:

RFD If "citizens" was not part of the resolution this would be a different game. I do feel Opposition's A1s have topicality issues as I'm not buying the K.

Proposition is left with moral, legal bind, people's choices, people's increased productivity and poor people's suffering.

Opposition is left with difficulties in implementation. I feel that these A1s don't directly address why or why not the resolution is true or not, legitimate or not, convenient or not.

I'm going proposition on this one. Good job!
