Comments: Aaron's constructive was informative and showed your audience much evidence. I like you said that many countries have put a tax on meat. Here is my suggestion for your constructive. You explained why government should put a tax on meat based on benefits to policies, I believe it would be more convincing if you could expand on how tax meat would benefit citizens and consumers. Also, you had two points to support your idea, I think two might not be enough. In your rebuttal and closing, I like your points when you tried to hit your opponent back. Also, you mentioned many sets of data in your speech, it was supportive. However, it would be better if you could tell us where were they from, such as having oral citation like what you did in your constructive. Great job!
Meadow made an excellent constructive, it was informative and evident. I like you had oral citations of all outside sources you used. Also, you speech was logical. It was good that you made your points first then provided arguments. In your rebuttal and closing, your points were innovative. I like you pointed out the example of minimun wage to support you ideas. Here is my suggestion to your speech. You have done a great job, and your rebuttal was amazing. It would be perfect if you could mention your key points again after all, to remind your audience what you were trying to point out.

The decision is for the Opposition: Meadow Kennedy

    Reason for Decision:

I can tell both Aaron and Meadow had prepared well for this round of debate, it surprised me that both of you did a wonderful job in making oral citations and helped make your speeches more reliable. After consideration, Meadow wins this round. Her points were innovative and logical, also she had very reliable sources when she made rebuttal. Aaron also had great points, it would be better if he could expand more instead of focusing too much on policies.
