    Comments: Great job! I think you did a really good job of responding to your opponents specific claims. I think your argument about "sugar highs" was good, and you could also have done more in the realm of "good sugars" vs "bad sugars" in health. I think you did a great job of breaking down offensive and defensive arguments. Keep it up! great job! make sure to respond to all her arguments, even if it is just claims about evidence sourcing. Something important when making a claim is to break it down logically- so if kids are responsible for these decisions- why is it good for that to be the case? What is the benefit of having sugary drinks, if one of the options (drinking sugary drinks) could be so bad.

    Reason for Decision:

    Great job! You both were very clear and made convincing arguments. I voted for the proposition based on their argument that the sugar in sugar drinks provided in schools are not good and theres no reason for kids to have the option that will hurt them. I think the oppositions claim that this is the responsibility of the kids need to explain more *why* kids need to be responsible for their health, and why it is uniquely good for them to have this decision presented.
