    Comments: Hi Madison,
I really enjoyed watching your debate! My favorite example you used is how you compared putting animals in captivity for safety is like putting a person in jail. Great job presenting your argument and then rebutting your opponent. My question for you would be, what exactly should be banned? All zoos/safaris/circuses/etc., or just the bad organizations? Try to be as specific as possible when presenting your arguments. Great job!
    Hi Zyva,
Great debate! I loved how you provided examples as to why the wild is very dangerous for the animals. The examples you used were also very relevant, such as the Australian wildfires. Something to work on would be to find more concrete evidence. A lot of your examples were very circumstantial, which isn't as credible as it could be. Awesome job!

The decision is for the Proposition: Madison Merrithew

    Reason for Decision:

You guys did great! You both used great sources/evidence, and followed up with tons of examples. Overall, I am voting for the proposition. Madison really emphasized the magnitude of keeping animals in captivity, which outweighed the circumstances in which the animals would be in danger in the wild. Great debate to the both of you! https://speechdebate.binghamton.edu/images/smilies/smile.gif
