    Comments: Hi Anya!
You did a great job connecting your evidence to the emotions of your judges. You also used very credible sources. Great job on connecting the evidence and examples! Way to speak very clear and conscise. Something to work on might be searching for more statistical evidence, and also just using a diverse set of sources. Great job! https://speechdebate.binghamton.edu/images/smilies/smile.gif
    Hi Maddie!
I loved how you really broke down the resolution word for word. You brought my attention to problems within the resolution I would not originally think of. You also addressed nearly every point of the propisition, so great job! Try to work on getting more credible sources. By this, I mean websites that end in .org or .edu. I really enjoyed listening to your debate! https://speechdebate.binghamton.edu/images/smilies/smile.gif

The decision is for the Opposition: Maddie Kenyon

    Reason for Decision:

I can tell that you both worked very hard on your speeches, great job! I am voting for the opposition. Anya did a great job using credible evidence and supporting it with examples, but Maddie had a very strong argument by breaking down the whole meaning of the resolution. Of course there are organizations that must be shut down, but not all zoos/safaris/etc are awful, as Maddie also stated. This was a very close debate, so great job both of you!
