While it seemed that your speeches were researched, you never cited a reference or listed any of your references. For that reason, your argument was unpersuasive. Nice point about the gov't not being able to afford both plans-too bad you had no citations to back up anything you said. |

Reason for Decision:
Andrew's postion was more persuasive with his use of his citations. Linda, your debate was spirited and I think you capitalized on Andrew's weak points, but your failure to provide any back up research in your rebuttal points made your opposition less persuasive and far less effective.
