    Comments: The absence of a first speech killed this debate before it had a chance to take off. The debate was ended early before either debater could delve into the issues.

    You did a good job debating the "line by line", although you did drop the argument against your use of speed
    I would have preferred that you fill all of your allocated speech time with argumentation. Your first speech was no longer than 30 seconds. I understand there was no speech to directly refute, but you knew the resolution he was obligated to affirm. Spend your first speech talking about why vegetarianism fails as well as the fact that the first speech was not available for viewing. Then, spend your second speech talking about the new issues he brought up (which hopefully you would have pre-empted before he brought them up in his proposition rebuttal), as well as the negative impact of not having presented a constructive speech.
