Comments: I thought you did a good job of responding to the arguments raised by your opponent and focusing on the key argument that you are going for.

The comment regarding your opponent's accent is gratuitous and does nothing to advance your argument - I wouldn't waste time on those points going forward.
I thought your delivery was excellent and very much appreciated your clear road map and strong support of your points.

The issue to work on is being able to turn winning points into winning debates. If I agree with you, that we do not have a moral duty to dolphins, why does that lessen the educational value of the resolution for protecting children? How do I weigh the impact of a resolution decrying the dolphin-hunting culture versus a demand for straight-out prohibition which the proposition is not? How does the risk of cultural imperialism compare to risk of children and mothers dying from mercury?

The decision is for the Proposition: Reva Agashe

    Reason for Decision:

I voted for the proposition because it is not clear to me how a resolution decrying dolphin-hunting (as opposed to demanding an end to it)would result in what I think is the opposition's strongest argument regarding cultural imperialism. Because the opposition's impact is not well articulated, I voted in favor of solving for the marginal risk of the lives of children and mothers being endangered over the more nebulous risk of cultural genocide.
