    Comments: good plan. I think you pick ground that you can win on. We'll see if its topical. FYI max security federal prisons are not nice places at all. Don't get into ad hominum attacks. really hard to hear you. I like your strategy turning it into a industrial prison complex bad debate. You really need to address the suicide debate. I might say that prison causes lots of suicide due to rape etc. Don't get into ad hominum attacks

    Reason for Decision:

    I think the plan is specific/topical enough because you dont really address the increase education argument. I think that the proponent could win this debate by focusing on the suicide and personal autonomy aspects of his plan. Unfortunately the proponent does not do enough to rebut the fact that the stiff sentence proposed by his plan will lead to more federal prisoners (and they are nasty places when they aren't minimum security trust me look at levinworth) and there is no answer to the multiple reasons why prisons are really bad e.g. rape, poverty, affect on workers, torture, control etc.
