I'm sorry if at times I am unclear. This cold is kicking my butt, and additional video-takes aren't making it any better ;(

"Sociopaths might reflect and say animals are delicious."
    Excellent.

I respect and to a degree agree with your arguments, but you don't convince me that states shouldn't try to act, or that individuals alone can solve.

The decision is for the Proposition: William Cheung

    Reason for Decision:

First of all, let me say this was a great round. Very interesting lines of argument and it covered a lot of ground. I ultimately vote proposition because of evidence/examples he gives of state action being able to solve when combined with personal action/reflection advocated by the opposition. I also found compelling the danger of ceding the political realm to the extreme right.

Congrats to Will for the win - the "Sociopaths might reflect and say animals are delicious" was drop-dead hilarious.

Brandon, I thought your K was one of the most responsive and creatively impacted kritiks I've seen. the instrumentalization argument about Christian theology was brilliant. I would know, since my name is Christian.
